The millionaire looked through his mansion window and saw something his wife never expected him to witness.
His daughter was crawling from an old doghouse while carrying her baby brother.
Both children were crying.
Lily had lost one shoe, and a red mark circled her wrist.
Vanessa rushed to explain that they had only been playing.
Then Lily looked at her father and said:
“She locked us inside.”
Vanessa insisted the little girl was confused.
She was confident because she had switched off the backyard camera and erased every recording.
But Adrian had installed an encrypted off-site backup without telling her.
He opened the restored files and found dozens of clips Vanessa believed were gone forever.
Then he connected his phone to the mansion’s television and pressed play.
